I’ve been on Pinterest a lot again lately. It’s really an addiction, but I go through phases of using/not using it. Ever since I saw a post a few weeks ago (of course I can’t remember which blog I saw it on) where that blogger shared a few of her favorite pins, I’ve been thinking it would be a fun addition to my weekly posts. I love how much “pinspiration” I can get just by scrolling through my Pinterest feed or looking through my boards at things I’ve already pinned.
I hope you find the following “pinspirating” links as helpful or knit-inspiring as I have!
Even though this post from anonyknits is from years ago, it’s still relevant to knitters who need help with seaming!
Cast-on for toe-up socks:
If you’ve ever knitted socks from the toe-up, you’ve probably heard of Judy’s Magic Cast-on. If you’re new to sock knitting, you’ll want to check out the next pin! This is the only cast-on I’ve used (that I know of) for toe-up socks. And it works great!
A fabulous looking pattern knit in colors that really work well together.
Well, what do you think? This is just a taste of what a Pinspiration post might be like. Do you like it? Would you enjoy reading more posts like this? I have plenty of pins that I’d love to share here, plus I am always adding more to my pin boards. If you like, you can also follow me on Pinterest! I already mentioned my Pinterest addiction, right?! If you don’t believe me, just click on the Pinterest button in my sidebar. You’ll find I’ve got tons of boards with TONS of pins…you can follow them all or just pick the boards that interest you!
Happy knitting this weekend! I’m going to go work on my Heartland Lace Shawl now and hopefully get it done!
